Welcome

Richard Brightling welcomes you to a collection of paintings, all of which have been painted on specially prepared end grain-tile like sections of discarded wood.

This special technique serves to provide the viewer with a unique textural surface which also works to present the underlying beauty of one of nature's greatest creations...wood.

Thank you for your interest and appreciation. Enjoy the gallery.
